Fall is in the Air, in Every Sight and Every Sound
Why was today amazing? Because fall came through today. The sunset started looking like fall about a month ago, but today it felt like it, and my day went with it.
I woke up before eight, and as I left to go to the Rec, a beautiful and crisp fall breeze greeted me. Butterflies in stomach resulted. After a nice workout (one of the best ways to wake up in my opinion), I got ready in full game day regalia and Lindsay and drove up to the Foothills to go to AJs and get our foodie-geekiness on. Although both of us were unable to buy much, we admired produce and the Butcher/Seafood display, and dreamed of when we'll be rich in future. Lindsay had some AMAZING looking chowder on the patio, and we chatted (as we did throughout the trip) about many things, inevitably including Grey's. The little trip was finished with a walk over to Yankee Candle Co., where I was treated to some amazing fall candles: 'Cider's Web' & 'Fall Festival'.
After finishing off the morning shopping, Ashley and I grabbed lunch at Claim Jumper, where the cool air prompted me to get a dee-lish salad. More chatting ensued.
Jump to me getting studying done, where I met with Louie and Elise in Geronimo Plaza and sipped some hot coffee to keep warm while looking over biochem. And you guessed it - more chatting.
Came home and Jen had her cranberry candle going (yes, it too reminds me of fall) and Bianca was suprisingly reading on the couch. Our little adobe house was warm, but the air outside eased in, and I switched into my UA bottoms and socks. Yup - B and I chatted.
So now I'm here, watching Season 1 of Galactica - for who knows what time, copying notes, and eating another delightfully drippy and tasty - but tonight hot - sandwich. Ta-da.
